You’re Invited

Inspired by Bruno Munari’s Supplement to the Italian Dictionary, where he defines common Italian hand gestures, I made a poster recreating the hand sign for invitation with students of the CityLab Florence course I was co-teaching. I photographed each students’ hand in the position of offering and accepting an invitation then situated the images within a grid so that the poster starts and ends with the course professor, completing the loop.
